We developed the Smart Ballast System for the Challenger F5J to give pilots maximum flexibility when conditions change. Designed around a simple, modular concept, the system allows you to quickly adapt your model’s weight to match the wind — helping you get the most from every flight.

The system features two full ballast bars with a total capacity of 720 g. Each bar can be configured using:

• 2 × 75 g ballast cubes
• 1 × 210 g ballast cube

The modular ballast arrangement makes weight changes fast, simple, and precise, allowing you to fine-tune your Challenger F5J for everything from light-air conditions to stronger winds.
